Morro de São Paulo, a tropical paradise off Brazil's coast, offers stunning beaches, vibrant culture, and affordable accommodations. One such gem is Flat Mar Doce Lar, where $50 can provide a memorable stay.Airbnb.
The Stay: Flat Mar Doce Lar

I originally booked this place to share with 2 friends, and with a comfortable couch, kingsize bed, and hammock outside, it worked out well. Clean, air conditioned, and a full kitch on hand, I couldn't find anything to complain about.
Budget Breakdown
For approximately $50 per night, we enjoyed:
A private apartment with modern amenities.
Proximity to beaches, restaurants, and local attractions.
Access to a swimming pool and communal areas.
Queer-Approved Rating System
You all know I'm commited to spilling the T about if the place is queer approved. So here's how Flat Mar Doce Lar scores: 5 stars

Safety: The area is welcoming, with no reported issues for LGBTQ+ travelers. We didn't feel threatened or unwelcomed at any point during the stay. You're responsible for your guest if you try to bring a cutie back with you.
Inclusivity: While not specifically LGBTQ+-focused, the environment is friendly and non-discriminatory.
Vibe: The relaxed atmosphere and proximity to the lively beach scenes make it an instagram/honeymoon/solo relaxation haven, (yes, all those things haha) The best part was, there were a ton of lesbian couples, more than gay men to be honest.
Overall, Flat Mar Doce Lar was a queer-friendly accommodation that offered a safe and enjoyable experience.

Final Thoughts

The host even provided me with a last minute booking to a larger room when I requested my own place.
